Traffic Management – Wood End Lane

Published 9 October 2021

Traffic management Wood End Lane, Fradley
As part of our continuing activity ahead of the construction of the railway we’re letting you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.
We will be creating a new site entrance to our compound and haul road. This work will include preparation of the road edges and laying of new kerb stones. We will also be carrying out utility trial trenching, along Wood End Lane, which will involve digging into the ground to establish what is underneath the surface. This will provide us with information on the location of underground utilities, which we need to assess as we develop our construction plans.
These works will take place from 25 October – 11 November
Our working hours will be:
  • Daytime: 8:00am to 6:00pm for the access road construction, a lane closure with temporary traffic lights on Wood End Lane and Netherstowe Lane.
  • Overnight: 8:00pm to 6:00am for the survey works, this is a road closure of Wood End Lane with a diversion.
Our workforce can be on site one hour before and after to set up and take our work equipment.
There will be no weekend working. Businesses will be open as usual.
We’re committed to keeping you informed about the planning and delivery of the railway in your area with regular updates on progress.
