Parish Council – trying to reduce traffic speed

.. to combat traffic speeds throughout the village. You will be aware that a mobile speed camera van visits the village from time to time and that we also have a demountable speed indication device (SID) for a few days each month. The parish council has been looking in to purchasing its own SID and a working group came up with this report. SID Working Group Report (35.9 Kb)
Cost and maintenance is a major issue and it has been suggested that the parish council considers joining forces with other parishes to share this burden. More will follow.
