The church in Kings Bromley is situated on Yoxall Road and is dedicated to All Saints.
It was originally in a Norman style, but has been enlarged and repaired in various styles over the years.
The tower has 6 bells and the church contains some very beautiful stained glass windows including a special millennium commission.
The patron is Lord Leigh, Bishop of Lichfield and Dean and Chapter of Lichfield jointly.
The church can be floodlit, perhaps in memory of a loved one or for a special birthday or anniversary. The cost is £1 per hour. Please contact Glen Wright – 01543 472622.
The Beavers is open to boys and girls, aged 6 to 7 years of age. We have two Beaver colonies. Meetings are held weekly, during term time, at St Peter’s School, Yoxall on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm For further information, please contact Angela Burns on 07976 814523.
We are a small group of ringers, of all ages (11 plus) and all abilities. We ring for Sunday services and on practice night.
Practices take place at 7.30 pm on Thursdays. On the first and third Thursdays at Mavesyn Ridware, on the second and fourth Thursdays at Kings Bromley and on fifth Thursdays at Hoar Cross. For more information contact Andrew and Anne Ogden on 07970 389590.
The bowling club has a bowling green in Manor Park and new members are always welcome. During the winter months theclub continue to meet with regular whist drives at the Village Hall. See the village diary for details.

This group of around 12 gentlemen, whose average age is 78, meet every Wednesday between 10.00 am and 12.15 pm, with a mid morning coffee break, at All Saints Church. The group meets every week, except Christmas and New Year, come rain orshine, and only very severe weather keeps them at home. Newcomers are always welcome, of any age, to do as much or as little as they choose. For details contact David Coglan via the Parish Clerk.

The Cricket Club has a pitch and club house down Crawley Lane, Kings Bromley.

The Cubs is open to boys and girls, aged 8 to 10 years of age. We have two cub packs. Meetings are held weekly, during term time, at St Peter’s School, Yoxall on a Monday evening from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm and on a Thursday evening from 6.00pm to 7.30 pm. Lichfield Athletic Football Club – a very active and enthusiastic group of young people who play in various leagues (Burton & Tamworth). They train and play matches on the Horticultural Society Show Field weekly and have several young teams ranging from 8 years to under 15’s, including the Little Lions who meet every Sunday morning and train from the age of 4 to 8 years.
Friends of the Allied Special Forces Memorial Grove
The Grove is funded and maintained by the Friends and gardening team and is constantly being improved with specific memorials to Allied Special Forces operations.
It is situated in the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas.

Kings Bromley Show Society
Kings Bromley Show is one of the longest running shows in Staffordshire and is organised by the Kings Bromley & District Horticultural Society.
The show takes places on the fourth Saturday in July each year, on the show field, Crawley Lane, Kings Bromley, and regularly attracts between 2000 and 2500 visitors.
The show provides a full day out for all the family from 9.30 to 5.00. Trade, craft, amusement, food and beverage stands. Dog Show, and lots else to see and do.
Competitive classes for: Art, Cookery, Crafts, Horticulture, Photography, Treasured Vehicles, Young Crafts and Woodworking. Visit the show website for full schedule of competitive classes, entertainments and admission charges.

Kings Bromley STOP HS2 Group
Kings Bromley Stop HS2 Action Group have recently joined with other local Action Groups to concentrate on Phase 2 of HS2 as well as continue the opposition to Phase 1. The new Joint Action Groups consist of Kings Bromley, The Ridwares and Colton. If anyone else would like to join us, there is always room for more and fresh ideas!

Needlework and Craft Club
The Needlework and Craft Club meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm – 4.00pm at the village hall. New members are always welcome to come along and learn a new skill or share their knowledge with other members. Ridware Young Farmers Club
Ridware YFC is a group of young persons aged between 14 and 26 from the surrounding area, who currently meet on Wednesday evenings.
There are opportunities to travel the work, learn new skills, build your confidence, work as part of a team and most importantly, make new friends and have lots of fun.
Remember – you don’t need to be a farmer, live on a farm, or even own a pair of wellies to join.

The Foresters Scout Group is open to boys and girls, aged 10 to 14 years of age. There are 2 Scout Troops, both meet at St Peters School in Yoxall. The first meets on a Tuesday 7.15pm – 8.45pm and the second one on a Thursday 7.45pm – 9.15pm.

The club has two tables in an upstairs room at the Village Hall and holds open sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7pm onwards) and on Tuesday afternoons (2pm onwards). We play snooker predominantly for social interaction with friends and neighbours and new members of all abilities are always welcome. This group of like minded people, make regular outings to theatres near and far to see plays, shows and productions of all types. Further details are available from Mrs M Weaver.
Tweenies, Toddlers and Parents Group

The group meets on a Thursday term time from 9am till 11.30am in the village hall. It’s a stay and play session which is parent lead.
Refreshments provided at £1 per child.
Occasionally they meet up in the school holidays.
Kings Bromley United Charity (Charity Number 1020119)
The Charity is an amalgamation of a number of bequests left in wills or gifts given in people’s lifetime over the years. The Charity’s main purpose now is to maintain three almshouses in Manor Road, Kings Bromley, and supports the residents of these houses.

The Village Hall is situated on Alrewas Road, close to the centre of Kings Bromley. The hall has good parking and a grassed area behind where the parish council has installed play equipment.
Inside the hall there is a main hall, bar area, kitchen and toilets downstairs and a snooker room upstairs.
The village hall is well used by a wide range of village organisations, including the parish council, pre school, Christadelphians, Gardening Guild, Women’s Institute, Horticultural Society, to name just a few. Activities at the hall can be viewed on the on-line calendar.

The Kings Bromley Wednesday Club is for the more mature members of the village and holds regular meetings, events and outings. Further details can be obtained from Belinda Allen on 01543 472043.
Kings Bromley Women’s Institute has been in existence for over 80 years and new members are always welcome. Meetings are usually on the first Thursday in the month, with the exception of August when there is no meeting.
