We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area. In order to reduce the amount of emails you receive we have amalgamated a number of notifications into this one email.

Ellfield House, Whittington
We will be starting works to dismantle a building at Ellfield House. To ensure that we keep the public safe we will install fencing and undertake vegetation clearance around the property, prior to commencing works.

The clearance and fencing works will take place from Monday 21 November 2022. Following these initial works, we will commence dismantling the building. This is estimated to take up to three weeks. Our working hours will be between 8am and 6pm (Mon-Fri) Our workforce can be on site one hour before and after to set up and secure our equipment.

A5, Hints
BBV are working with National Highways to plan and deliver HS2 works on the A5 Hints Bypass. We will be undertaking surveys and earthworks on the westbound carriageway of the A5 Hints Bypass. The surveys will help us identify the location of buried utility services, such as gas, electric or water. These surveys are non-intrusive, we will use a machine that transmits an electromagnetic pulse into the ground. These pulses reflect off features in the ground, allowing us to collect data and to understand the depth of the buried utility services.

The works will take place from Monday 5 December to Friday 9 December 2022. To carry out our works safely, we will install temporary overnight closures of the A5 westbound carriageway, which will be in place from 9pm to 5am each night.
