We would like to advise you of surveys that Kier are looking to carry out on behalf of HS2, we will be undertaking this work along The A513 Rugeley Road and its junction with the A515, there will also be works happening off the highway on adjacent land. We wanted to inform you of this upcoming work as they include intrusive surveys which will involve pavement coring, bore holes, trial pits and other investigation work. These works will be undertaken with a mixture of temporary traffic lights, road closures and a mixture of daytime and night-time working hours which may affect your parish. This programme of work will be carried out between the end of August 2022 and December 2022. We are currently waiting for dates to be confirmed, but at present it looks like we’ll be working in the area for around 3 weeks involving some form of traffic management.

We wanted to provide this information early while we are waiting for the programme to be finalised to allow you time to get any messages out to the parish at this time. Once we have this we will provide dates, times and any traffic management required. We will contact you to provide the relevant information to share on any noticeboards, websites and other means of communication you have available. We will also undertake our own engagement with the local residents and businesses affected by the work.
