Recently LDC has made a successful prosecution of a Burntwood resident who felled several trees without first seeking planning permission. It is worth bearing in mind that many trees, particularly in the conservation area in Kings Bromley are also protect by tree preservation orders. Before taking out the chain saw please contact Gareth Hare, LDC’s tree officer to make sure that any trees are not affected by such an order.
