A38 works

A38/A50 Toyota Island essential maintenance
Please be advised, we’ll have a full 24/7 closure of the A38 southbound, between the exit and entry slip road at Toyota Island, from 8pm on Friday 27 September to 6pm on Sunday 29 September. On this weekend, we’ll also have two overnight closures of the A38 northbound, between the exit and entry slip at Toyota Island, on Friday 27 September and Saturday 28 September, between 8pm and 5am.
A38 Toyota Island to Little Eaton LED lighting work
From 30 September until the end of November, we’ll be upgrading the current lighting to LED’s on the A38 between Toyota Island and Little Eaton. The new LED lighting will be more energy efficient and require less maintenance in the future.We’ll complete our work overnight on weeknights, between 8pm and 6am, predominantly using lane closures, but we’ll also have some full overnight carriageway and slip road closures along this stretch. For further details of these closures, please see the attached bulletin.
