A38 Traffic Management Bulletin w/c 20 January 2025

Hello and welcome to our weekly A38 Traffic Management Bulletin.
A38 Toyota Island to Little Eaton LED lighting work
We’re returning to complete the LED lighting upgrade work that we started last Autumn along the A38, between Toyota Island and Little Eaton. The new LED lighting will be more energy efficient and require less maintenance in the future.
Our work will start on 20 January and finish in April. This will be carried out on weeknights, between 8pm and 6am, predominantly under slip road and lane closures, with some full carriageway closures along this stretch.
The closures for this scheme for the following 2 weeks are:
- 20 January – Toyota Island southbound exit slip road closure
- 21 January – Toyota Island northbound entry slip road closure
- 22 January – Findern Interchange northbound exit slip road closure
- 23 January – Findern Interchange southbound entry slip road closure
- 24 January to 31 January – Toyota Island to Findern Interchange full northbound carriageway closure
