A38 Traffic Management Bulletin w/c 17 February 2025

A38 Toyota Island to Little Eaton LED lighting work

Until April, we’ll be completing the LED lighting upgrade work along the A38, between Toyota Island and Little Eaton. The new LED lighting will be more energy efficient and require less maintenance in the future.
This will be carried out on weeknights, between 8pm and 6am, predominantly under slip road and lane closures, with some full carriageway closures along this stretch.

The closures for this scheme for the following 2 weeks are:

• 14 February to 17 February – A38 southbound to A516 westbound link road closure
• 18 February to 19 February – Northbound exit slip road to Hospital Island
• 20 February – Southbound entry slip road from Hospital Island
• 27 February – A38 northbound full carriageway closure between Hospital Island and Kingsway Roundabout

During closures there will be full signed diversion routes in place. Please see the attached bulletin for details.
