Below is a report by the group. The parish council would like to thank all those involved that regularly give up their own time to monitor traffic speeds through our village. Not only are they out and about in all weather conditions but they often suffer verbal abuse for their efforts! Report 2023

A38 Road works latest

National Highways said

We’re pleased to confirm that we’re in the final stages to complete our A38 Fradley to Barton combined maintenance scheme.Unfortunately, due to bad weather, we were unable to remove all our speed enforcement and traffic management earlier this week. All remaining speed enforcement and traffic management will now be removed at this location along the southbound carriageway overnight under lane closures on Friday 3 November. Please accept our apologies for any additional inconvenience this may cause.We’re always looking to improve the way we work.
