With modern technology car thieves have access to software that can scan your cars remote key and capture the code which enables then to take your car when you least expect it. Keep your keys in a ‘Faraday’ style case (inexpensive to purchase off the internet) and away from the house front door. Cases have been reported where homes are broken in to steal the car keys.

A long cold winter and what you can do to help the Parish Council

Published 11 December 2022

The Council is aware that some residents might be finding or will find the coming months challenging in terms of the increasing cost of living and the necessity to keep warm and feed. In an effort to help, the council is currently making plans with other organisations to offer some relief where it can.

Today we are looking for volunteers to act as eyes and ears in our streets for those
who may be lonely, old, or simply frightened by the variety of problems we might have
to face. However, the council needs the help of volunteers.

If you could help, please email this information to the Parish Council lead on this
matter: bromleyjhb@aol.com or return this form to

John Bowman, 43 Lanes Close or telephone 01543 473096
