Community Litter Pick

There will be a Community Litter Pick on Sunday 24th afternoon, concentrating on the grass verges between the village boundaries and the parish boundaries. This has the full support of Richard Cox, Lichfield District Council Cabinet Member for Leisure, Parks & Waste.

If you would like to participate please contact Allan Howard on alan.how8@btinternet.com or 01543 472720, who will be able to provide you with a suggested area along with hi-viz tabards, bin liners, long handled grabbers and health and safety advice. The full bin liners are to be placed alongside the blue bin by the village hall where LDC will collect them.

Parish Council Tax Increase Foregone

Kings Bromley Parish Council has decided not to apply for an increase in its precept, the amount of money it receives from Council Tax this year. Normally the Parish Council applies for an increase in line with inflation, but has decided that, given the hardship that some are suffering under the pandemic, that this would be inappropriate. This was proposed at the December meeting of the Parish Council and carried unanimously.
